Corkeen it's a anti-trauma system Made of 100% natural, reusable, and recyclable cork, developed and manufactured by Amorim for outdoor recreational spaces. The system is designed to ensure safety in the event of a fall, comfort of use, and respect for the environment.
Free from harmful substances and chemical compounds such as heavy metals, EDCs, T-VOCs, formaldehyde, and PAHs, Corkeen uses no plastic or rubber granules and helps reduce the spread of microplastics. The material is hypoallergenic, odorless even at high temperatures, and does not overheat.
Cork's natural insulating properties allow for a surface temperature reduction of more than 20% compared to some synthetic solutions. Its high drainage capacity keeps the surface dry and safe even in rainy weather, while its light weight allows it to be used even on surfaces with load-bearing limitations.
Corkeen Play Original is installed as a two-layer system, with a shock-absorbent base layer and a wear-resistant top layer. Installation is entrusted to Corkeen Brand Masters, partners specializing in the installation of shock-absorbing systems.
Corkeen is a sustainable system composed of approximately 90% cork, a natural, renewable, and recyclable raw material. Production follows the principles of the circular economy, using by-products from the cork industry and reducing waste. Over 60% of the production facilities' energy needs are met by biomass derived from cork powder, a carbon-neutral energy source. At the end of their life cycle, all materials in the system are reusable and can be used to create new products.
